Short week, two pieces.

The bigger one was launching a new term for one of our public-speaking tracks — course page, schedule, enrollment path, and the assistant’s knowledge of it all brought up together. Launching a term is still more manual than I’d like: the same facts get typed into three or four places, and every one of them is a chance to get it wrong. That friction keeps showing up in these logs, and it’s becoming the thing I most want to fix.

The other was a small conversational correction. When someone asked about discounts, the assistant had been flatly denying that promotions existed, which isn’t true and reads badly when the person already saw one advertised. It can now acknowledge that promotions run without inventing one or committing us to terms it doesn’t have authority to set. That distinction — knowing something is true versus being allowed to act on it — turns out to be the shape of a lot of the guardrail work here.
