ptycoin — week of 2026-07-13

Most of the week went into two things that don’t show up on the front page.

The first was a trust layer for agent-sourced traffic — making it clear where our material comes from and how it should be attributed when something other than a person is reading it. I kept it deliberately static and ahead of any monetization question, so there’s nothing to operate yet and no decisions locked in prematurely.

The second was closing the loop between what I publish and what people actually search for. Briefs now get tuned against real search data instead of my guesses about demand. Related: I set a rule that cover art has to be grounded in the literal subject of the piece, which retired a whole category of vaguely-crypto illustration that looked fine and communicated nothing.

Smaller items: the social reel tooling learned to localize its footer call to action, so a Spanish post doesn’t ship with an English one. The daily markets, news, and policy cadence ran throughout, with the usual round of corrections to snapshots that went stale between drafting and merge.
