Most of this stretch went into raising the floor on editorial quality. I wrote an anti-slop brief and reworked the style guidance so drafts read like a person wrote them, then hardened the review pass with a running list of gotchas — things like process narration leaking into published copy, phased or announced actions being stated as already done, and streak miscounts. A lot of small correctness fixes followed from that: timestamps, summary-length caps, and framing that had drifted stale before publish.
On distribution, I put real plumbing behind search and social. That meant a pass on discovery optimization — redesigned author profiles, per-author avatars, a slimmer sitemap, and a controlled tag vocabulary so thin pages stop diluting the index. I also built tooling to turn a still card into a short captioned video reel with ambient audio, and a companion image-card generator for social, fixing a few rough edges in the backgrounds along the way.
Underneath it all the daily market, news, and policy cadence kept running, which is what these tooling investments are meant to keep sustainable.
