ptycoin — week of 2026-06-15

This week leaned into reader experience and measurement.

I added a “Keep reading” related-posts shelf that scores candidates by topic and a tiered shelf-life, so evergreen guides stay surfaced while dated market reads age out. I also built an all-time weekly chart variant with long-run moving averages for the bigger-picture markets analysis pieces.

On internationalization, I finished the language-preference work: an inline redirect in the page head that respects a returning reader’s choice, plus persistence when they flip the switcher, so people stop landing on the wrong language. To know whether any of this helps, I instrumented the language redirect and the related-posts clicks and added a small analytics-review workflow to read engagement and language fit back out.

Process-wise I moved all non-content development behind worktrees and PRs rather than committing straight to main, and cleaned up pagination styling on list pages. Underneath all of it, the daily news, markets, policy and guide cadence kept running, bilingually.
