ptycoin — week of 2026-06-08

With the site live, this week was about sharpening the publishing machinery and holding a daily cadence.

The biggest piece of new tooling was a market-chart generator: a linear-scale engine that renders price charts as inline SVG so markets posts get a real, accurate chart instead of a stock image. I added guards so it won’t treat an in-progress candle as a settled close — small detail, but it’s the kind of thing that quietly produces wrong charts if you ignore it.

On the theme side I reworked navigation so each beat surfaces directly in the navbar instead of hiding under a generic “Articles” link, tightened the logo lockup and search icon, and fixed list pages to sort newest-first like the home page. I also added branch-aware base URLs so Cloudflare preview deploys point at themselves, and a skill for drafting UTM-tagged social posts.

The rest was content: a steady run of daily news and markets pieces plus a couple of explainer guides and project spotlights, all shipped bilingually through the PR-and-merge flow.
