spanish-academy — week of 2026-06-08

A feature-rich week, all aimed at turning visitors into qualified leads.

The centerpiece was a native placement exam. Instead of sending prospects to an external form, the site now has its own branded CEFR quiz that scores a visitor’s level against the school’s agreed thresholds, captures their details as a lead, and remembers the result so a returning visitor sees it again. It’s a far better experience than a generic Google Form, and the school owns every part of it.

I also added live chat to the site so prospects can ask questions in the moment, and gave it a dedicated booking page so “book a class” is a real destination, not just a popup. On the trust-and-polish side: brand-aligned booking notification emails, the class terms and conditions added to the legal pages in all three languages, and a proper monogram favicon and avatar set from the brand assets.

Underneath, I fixed the production build on the new hosting setup and added a localized 404 page, so even the error path stays on-brand and on-language.
