ergophobia — week of 2026-01-12

With the plumbing in place from the launch week, this week was about actually using the blog for what it exists to do: publishing a real article. I wrote up a long-form piece on sweeping XRP out of a wallet using a small Node.js tool, covering what the tool does, how to run it, and the security caveats that matter when you’re moving funds during a wallet recovery.

It was the first substantial piece of writing on the site, so it doubled as a test of the article layout under real content. I went back and forth tightening the formatting — removing a redundant title that the template already rendered, fixing up the link to the project’s GitHub repo, and cleaning up the X handle link so it was actually usable rather than just decorative.

Nothing structural changed in the site this week, and that was the point. The infrastructure held, the writing experience was smooth, and the result was a piece I’d be happy to point someone at.
